Associated Qualities: Discriminating emotion from fact, right from wrong, truth from falsehood, timelessness, clarity, hall of mirrors, spiritual\u00a0warriorship<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just 20 days ago, I wrote a <\/span>Wellness and<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/strong> <\/span>Spirituality <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/strong>post for Etznab and now we have come full circle in the 20 day uinal (week) of the Mayan \u201clong count\u201d Tzolk\u2019in calendar. Although we’ve come full circle, as I explained before, Etznab is not the first day of the cycle, but the 18th.\u00a0 It\u2019s just that I was inspired to begin writing about the Tzolk\u2019in on Etznab.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am drawn to this glyph and what it represents.\u00a0 Perhaps this is because my Medicine name is what it is: \u201cDu\u2019Tsu\u201d (pronounced \u201cToo-N-Twah)which\u00a0means \u201cSpring Frog.\u201d Grandmother Pa\u2019Ris\u2019Ha once explained to me that there was a kind of frog that lived in pure, wholesome mountain springs but stayed out of springs that were unfit to drink. A very discriminating frog indeed!\u00a0 In a manner of speaking, this would be an Etznab frog. –preferring the purest of the pure. <\/span><\/p>\n

Joy thrills the heart, as we gather for Sun Ceremony,<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/strong>
\n<\/span>To reflect the dance of the\u00a0Nuwati\u00a0divine,<\/span><\/strong><\/strong>
\n<\/span>We circle the arbor, like the planets in their courses,<\/span><\/strong><\/strong>
\n<\/span>As drummers beat the rhythms like the cycles of time.<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are the hearts, that gather for Sun Ceremony<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/strong>
\n<\/span>Their gift is the power to birth paradise.<\/span><\/strong><\/strong>
\n<\/span>Our spirits s<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/em><\/strong>oa<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/strong>r, like the flight of an Eagle,<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/strong>

\n<\/span>The sun is a prime Source of Great Spirit\u2019s blessing<\/span><\/strong><\/strong>
