Ahau is the ultimate experience to which humanity is heir. We are each destined for the \u201csolar mastery\u201d that it represents. For the last 20 days here at the online home of Wellness and Spirituality<\/strong>, we\u2019ve walked through the 20 day signs of the Mayan 13X 20=260 day Tzolk\u2019in calendar beginning with Imix and now ending with Ahau.<\/p>\n

Today the sun is shining and it\u2019s rather easy to imagine that our destiny is associated with the Sun.\u00a0 As someone who\u2019s experienced some SAD\u2014Seasonal Affective Disorder\u2014the sun\u2019s shining makes a great deal of difference in my life.\u00a0 I feel very much in tune with the sun.\u00a0 Some of my fondest memories are of the hot, glittering days I\u2019ve spent swimming under the sun in lakes, pools and the ocean. And of course, I am a Sun Ceremonialist. \u201cJoy thrills the heart as we gather for sun ceremony!\u201d<\/p>\n

How odd is it that my husband is sun-shy!\u00a0 His skin is very fair and he acts\u2014honestly\u2014like a baby–when the sun is on it\u2026.as if five minutes of exposure will kill him. Oh!\u00a0 I suppose it\u2019s not that odd at all.\u00a0 Opposites attract and we grow through having to deal with each other\u2019s differences. The Tao is.<\/p>\n

In any case, through the mechanics of reincarnation\u2014repeated earth lives\u2014each human being is evolving to a higher state of consciousness.\u00a0 This may seem incredibly tedious, given how un-evolved so many of us seem to be. However, with modern physics helping us out, we may be in luck!\u00a0 Our lives may not be happening chronologically in time but simultaneously! This opens up some very curious possibilities\u2014such as actually changing or altering history.\u00a0 That is, our \u201cpast\u201d lives may be changing as humans transform themselves in their \u201cpresent\u201d NOW. In fact, there is even some debate as to whether a \u201cpast\u201d actually ever existed.<\/p>\n

Googling \u201csimultaneous lives\u201d can be lots of fun\u2026.but let me get back to the Sun.<\/p>\n

As my Sun Site explains, the Earth will one day be absorbed back into the Sun, from whence it came. Oh\u2026maybe that will be a million years from now\u2026but maybe it will be in much less time.
\nBut the Sun\u2014I would suggest\u2014is much more like our spiritual home and spiritual future than is the Earth.\u00a0 (Not that I am anxious to leave behind this awesome planet\u2026.).\u00a0 This is because at base, we are spiritual beings that have a nature or substance much more akin to light energy than to matter, or condensed energy. And it is our thoughts that determine our next moment.<\/p>\n

As Grandmother Pa\u2019Ris\u2019Ha has taught: Your life is exactly what and how you think. \u201cYou are as you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

So how are you?\u00a0 What is your self-concept.\u00a0 Are you creeping anywhere close to \u201csolar mastery\u201d and Christ consciousness?<\/p>\n
